A small car is usually enough
When there are one or two of you, a small car is often the sensible choice: it uses little fuel, fits into tight parking spaces and is easy to drive in central Helsinki. Five seats mean you can still take a group along for a short trip.
Example cars at a glance
- Mazda 2 Hybrid: 1.5 Hybrid (116 hp) full hybrid with no charging needed; boot 286 litres according to Mazda, or 935 litres with the rear seats down
- Hyundai i20: boot 352 litres according to Hyundai, up to 1,165 litres with the rear seat folded; length 4,065 mm
- both have five seats, air conditioning and 95E petrol; a category B licence is enough
B-ECMR and BA-ECAR – what the classes mean
The letters of the ACRISS code describe the size and body: E = Economy, C = 2/4 doors and R = air conditioning. In the booking system this size class appears as B-ECMR and BA-ECAR.
Arrive by train, continue by car
Coming to Helsinki by train? From Pasila station it is only a few minutes’ walk to Ratapihantie 11, so you can continue your journey right after getting off the train. Our office is between Tripla and the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
